Northfield Rotary Park, Nanaimo

A joint project between the City of Nanaimo and Nanaimo Rotary Clubs. The heavy timber and grassed roof structure features washrooms and covered rest area beside the Parkway Trail, viewpoint and parking lot. The green roof features grasses and perennials common to the adjacent gary oak meadows ecosystem.
