Trojan Collision, Nanaimo
Drive thru addition and modernization of office interior/ facade renovation for auto body shop. Contemporary office interior with greek/ trojan themed elements such as recessed ceiling elements, colonnaded wall openings, greek fret/ key etched glass partitions, and recessed wall cubbies for trojan collectibles. Exterior facade continues the colonnade theme, but in a more industrial character with west coast materials of wood and existing brick/ concrete. Monumental columns are featured at the customer reception/ drive thru area, providing practical weather protection and visual presence from the adjacent highway. Drive thru features scissor lift and natural/ artificial lighting for vehicle inspections in a safe and controlled environment, free from clutter of wrecks along the streetscape.
